Writer a letter to myself  –  The Chi-lites (Named after Chicago from hence they came …. the days of the vocalists where there is diction and a flawless arrangement … Eugene Record was their principal writer and producer)

Casanova  –  Coffee (Hits for Ruby Andrews and Loleatta Holloway – this Josie Jo Armstead composition was re-arranged to a more upbeat tempo for this Delite Records act …. incidentally all four acts including the writer has at one time was based in Chicago)

Tighten up  –  The Bamboos (The story goes is – a deep/rare Funk dj saw this Australian Funk band live then recorded after the gig … he then gave the tapes to Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzales of Masters at Work who sprinkled his magic before releasing it on his own “Kay-Dee Records)

Acid over  –  Tyree (Originally released on Chicago’s Underground Records – this soon became overground after been remixed from the lp and a monster at Raves – was/is as an Acid-house classic)
