Today’s trax

Wish i never met you  –  Mica Paris featuring Bobby Womack (Mica was hailed to be the lifesaver of U.K Soul  … written by Patrick Moten who was also the principle writer/producer/arranger for Beverly Glen Records – known for releases by Anita Baker, Johnnie Taylor and of course Bobby Womack)

Volare  – Larry Page Orchestra (When Disco first came along – there were lots of cover versions of old standards … this is an Italian composition that was entered in the Eurovision Song Contest in the late fifties, a Penny Farthing Record release )

Funk with a capital G  –  Quazar  (Producer Glenn Goins died during the making this album that it had to be finished  by Jerome Brailey  …. both were ex and current employees of Mr P-Funk himself –  George Clinton during his heyday of the mid-seventies)

Keeping on moving  –  Frankie Knuckles featuring Nicki Richards (One of the lesser known of Frankie’s  trax – a semi-instrumental originally released on David Morales’s Definity Records and remixed/re-edit  by Danny Krivit)
