Trax feat. Sandra Wright, Tenderness, James Brown, Paul Simpson Connection

I not strong enough to love you again  –  Sandra Wright (Sandra Wright had very bad luck – musically as she was assigned to Stax Records just as it was going out of business … her album ‘Wounded Woman’ was eventually released approximately 15 years after it was originally recorded)

Gotta keep on trying  –  Tenderness (Released on RCA  Records – co-written by James Purdie & Skip Mahoaney who both were part of Skip Mahoaney & The Casuals … James later produced Skip’s solo single on Salsoul with Skip’s surname spelt differently)

I’m a greedy man –  James Brown (‘Soul Brother Number 1’, ‘Minister of New Super Heavy Heavy Funk’, were just two of the titles of James Brown … the edited single was released as part 1 /part 2 on the b-side, from the album “There it is”)

Use me lose me  – Paul Simpson Connection (A Streetwise Records release, headed by Arthur Baker … mixed at Bob Blank’s Blank Tape studios by one of their most respected engineers’ Butch Jones & co-produced by Winston Jones who co-wrote the influential “Ma Foom Bey – from the album “The Streetwise Records Anthology”)
