Just as long as i know you’re mine  –  Dee Dee Sharp Gamble (Having being a hit-maker at a young age with a trak which started a dance in the same vein as Chubby Checker’s  “The Twist” … Dee Dee later recorded for her husband’s Kenneth Gamble’s own label)

Rainstorm  –  Noel Pointer (Violinist Noel was assigned to Jazz phenomenon Blue Note Records – his first solo album “Phantazia” was produced by future label heads Dave Grusin & Larry Rosen of GRP fame known for discovering Angela Bofill)

Can’t get away  –  Mood 11 Swing featuring Caroline Johnson (Mood 11 Swing were just one of the pseudonyms of duo John Ciafone & Lem Springfield … their productions and compositions were released on a variety of labels including King Street Sounds, Groove On, Defected and others)

We’re a melody  –  Jones Girls (Born in Detroit U.S.A – these real life sisters were recorded a plethora of singles on labels such as Music Merchant & Paramount with writers and/or producers such as Curtis Mayfield and ‘Holland, Dozier, Holland’ before their successes on Philadelphia International Records)

Hurricane Joe  –  Leata  Galloway (Leata was a regular on and off Broadway and Jazz clubs & proving herself by appeared in a variety of hit shows … she guested on writer/producer “Paul Jabara & Friends” album where the other ‘friends’ eventually became stars)

Jump Street  –  Raul De Souza (Brazil born trombonist served his apprentice with such luminaries such as Azar Lawrence, Sonny Rollins, Sergio Mendes, Flora Purim and others … trak was available on Raul’ s “Don’t ask my neighbours’ & “The Hitter” o.s.t. albums both on ‘Capitol Records)

Don’t you ever give up  –  Innervision feat. Melodie Daniels (Originally available on Frankie Feliciano’s Recanstruction before being remixed by Frankie Knuckles & re-released on Nervous Records – written by Duane Harden)

Showtime  –  Undisputed Truth (When producer Norman Whitfield left Motown Records to form “Whitfield Records”- a boutique label affiliated with Warner Brothers, he brought with him Undisputed Truth from his former label)

Hold on (tighter to love)  –  Clubland feat. Zemya Hamilton (The success of  worldwide success “C & C Music Factory” prompted Clubland into being … the original album was remixed and repackaged for the U.S. market by Great Jones/Island Records – remixed by Chicago-an Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley)
