I love you more than before  –  First Choice (Former “Overbrook Singer” Rochelle Fleming formed “The Debonettes” before teaming up with guitarist Norman Harris & label owner Stan Watson who helped changed their name to ‘First Choice’ also write/ produce and release their trax)

Searching for some loving  –  Debbie Trusty (Former A&R man for Scepter/Wand Records Mel Cherren started “West End Records” … co-produced by Frank Fioravanti and remixed by David Todd and Nick Martinelli known for their sterling work on “Do it to the music”)

Captain Connors  –  Norman Connors (Jazz drummer Norman worked with Phaorah Sanders and others before signing to ‘Buddah’  subsidary “Cobblestone Records” … from the ‘Arista Records’ album “This is your life”)

Sweet in the morning  –  Alton Miller (Chicago born but grew up in Detroit, Alton was inspired by 70’s Soul and later the burgeon House scene in Chicago … from his album “Rhythm Exposed” on ‘Distance Records’)

Trax featured Angela Bofill, John Davis & The Monster Orchestra, Locksmith, Jasper Street Company

Under the moon and over the sky  –  Angela Bofill (Angela was assigned GRP – a Jazz/Soul headed by David Gruisin & Larry Rosen … writing by the lady herself which is a track from her album “Angie”)

Up jumped the devil  –  John Davis & The Monster Orchestra (Released on New York’s independent “Sam Records”  – this trak has since been remixed by 6th Borough Project and others … recorded at Sigma Sound Records where Disco was invented)

Unlock the funk  –  Locksmith (This sextet recorded only one album – for Arista Records which was produced by Harvey Mason with assistance from Kenny Mason)

God helps those who help themselves  –  Jasper Street Company (Basement Boys productions featured assortment music who helped the Basement Boys formulate their sound … named after the street where they are based)

Rendez-vous – Zhane’ (Duo – Jean Norris & Renee Neufelle recorded two albums for Motown Records imprint ‘Illtown’ … pronounced “Jah-nay” this trak was co-written by Jean – from their second long player ‘Saturday Night’)

Oh L’Amour  –  Giorgio (Moroder) (Having gotten a worldwide hit as a writer/producer for the ‘controversial’ Love to love you baby – Donna Summer trak … he released his album on his own “Oasis Records’ from which this trak is culled)

I’m still waiting  –  Givens Family (Release on ‘Sugar Hill Records’ – the most famous Rap/Hip Hop label formally known as Soul label “All Platinum” … co-written by Derrick Givens & produced by James Pass)

I don’t know why i love you  –  Brand New Heavies feat. N’Dea Davenport (U.K Funk Meisters B.H.M. brought in N’Dea  into their camp after travelling to the U.S.A. for what could be called “The Heavy Rhyme Tour” … remixed by ‘Kenny Dope’)
