The Oscar  –  Blue Magic (Headed by Ted ‘Wizard’ Mills – this quintet were assigned to Atco Records via WMOT production company … written & produced by  Norman Harris and Ron Tyson – from the album “Welcome Back” – a Capitol Records release)

Why  –  Chic  (From the original sound track “Soup for One” which was primary written and produced by Messrs Edwards & Rogers – released as a ‘b side’ on Mirage Records)

Do your thing –  Ohio Players (This self-contained group were originally from Dayton , Ohio – hence their name … main releases were on Westbound & Mercury  however this is on Neil Bogart’s Boardwalk Records)

Mo’ Butter  –  Jamie Lewis feat. Kim Cooper (Kim first came to prominence via productions of Peter Rauhofer … Dj Jamie Lewis heads Switzerland based ‘Purple Music’ record label)

Soup for one  –  Chic (From the soundtrack of the same name comes this near forgotten masterpiece from Messrs. Nile Rogers & Bernard Edwards give us this semi-instrumental … released as the ‘b; side to Carly Simon’s vocal on the ‘a’ side – released on Mirage Records)

It’s right  –  Michelle Wallace (Written  & produced by Arthur Baker, Tony Carbone & Russell Preston  – this trio also known as ‘Northend’ were Boston based Dj/Musicians … released on Emergency Records which Tee Scott mixed)

Come and go with me  –  Lenny Fontana presents Liquid Women (Featured  uncredited vocalist and co-writer Carole Sylvan – released in the U.K. on ‘Slip n Slide Records’ … backbeat was ‘inspired’ by “Wear it out – Stargard”)

I got protection  –  Chic (Messrs Nile Rogers & Bernard Edwards kept on going releasing Quality trax despite the “Disco Backlash” … their output continued to be released on ‘Atlantic’ except their first 12″ single which was released on both Buddha & Atlantic Records … from the album Real People’)

You love got a hold on me – Lillo Thomas (former athlete Lillo burst on the music scene on Capitol Records via “Hush Productions” after performing background vocals for female vocalists such as Melba Moore & Evelyn King … produced by Paul Laurence)

The Feeling  –  B.C.A. (Inspired by “Can’t fake the feeling – Gerald Hunt” which was released on Spain’s “Beat Freaks Records” – written, arranged & mixed by Dimas Carbajo & JJ De La Fuente … produced by DJ Dimas & J. Martinez)
