Ain’t no mountain high enough – KXP feat Ceybil Jefferies (written by Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson – was originally a hit for Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell … Sybil Jefferies was assigned to Atlantic Records, with slight name change also as “Sweet Sable” with Scotti Brothers)

One love   –  Robert Owens (Robert is known as ‘One of the Founding Fathers of House Music’ – as he was part of the trio the “Fingers Inc” – which also includes writer/arranger/producer Larry Heard … double cd was released on Germany’s Compost Records featuring various producers)

Just as long as i know you’re mine  –  Dee Dee Sharp Gamble (Having being a hit-maker at a young age with a trak which started a dance in the same vein as Chubby Checker’s  “The Twist” … Dee Dee later recorded for her husband’s Kenneth Gamble’s own label)

Rainstorm  –  Noel Pointer (Violinist Noel was assigned to Jazz phenomenon Blue Note Records – his first solo album “Phantazia” was produced by future label heads Dave Grusin & Larry Rosen of GRP fame known for discovering Angela Bofill)

Can’t get away  –  Mood 11 Swing featuring Caroline Johnson (Mood 11 Swing were just one of the pseudonyms of duo John Ciafone & Lem Springfield … their productions and compositions were released on a variety of labels including King Street Sounds, Groove On, Defected and others)
