Settle for my love – Patrice Rushen (Pianist Patrice was assigned to Jazz label “Prestige Records at an early age before moving unto Elektra – co-written by her on and off musical partner Sheree Brown) … a woman who wears all Musical hats including arranger, producer and winning countless awards along the way)

Ain’t nothing to it – Mike Theodore Orchestra (Teaming up with Dennis Coffey, these two Detroit based musicians – releasing their productions on a variety of independent label based around Michigan area … released on Armen Boladian’s Westbound Records, former home of Funkadelic & Ohio Players)

Funky Nassau – Orgone (Released on California’s Ubiquity Records – this is the self-contained second album and featured Fanny Franklin on lead vocals … titled “The Killion Floor”, which also includes two re-interpretations)

Release the tension – J-A Groove (Released on Maryland’s U.S.A. “Studio Records” … this is a re-interpretion of a trak written by Boyd Jarvis & Timmy Regisford whose original featured Colonel Abrams on the un-released original)

We’re still friends  –  Donny Hathaway (Chicago born Donny was a singer, writer , producer, arranger who musically hooked up with fellow city brother Curtis Mayfield before signing to Atlantic Records – known for his trax with Roberta Flack)

Call on me  –  Patrice Rushen (Jazz keyboard player Patrice moved from the Jazz market where she recorded for Prestige Records unto Elektra Records where her trax became more R&B based – from the album “Pizazz”)

Getting funky round here  –  Black Nasty (Signed to the hallowed Stax Records sub-label Enterprise – Black Nasty were a combo who fused Soul, Funk & Rock whilst adding social consciousness in the mix … ignored when first released but was brought back into the public consciousness via Hip-hop samplers and Funk compilers)

Erectus  –  Constipated Monkeys (Pseudonym of Dj/Producers Jose’ Nunez & Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero – this track was released by Eric Morillo’s New Jersey based Subliminal Records … as part of a 3 track 12 inch)
