Funk in the hole – Roy Ayers (Multi-instrumentalist Roy has been recording since the early Sixties when he worked with Herbie Mann … also known as ‘Slow Tarzan’ – this trak was inspired by “Tower of Power”s Horn Section, a trak featured on his ‘Virgin Ubiquity’ album(s) which were previously from un-released sessions)

Take a ride – Club 69 (Studio assemblage put together by Peter Rahoufer formally of Austria’s GiG Records and later of New York’s Star 69 … vocals and lyrics by Connie Harvey who was also one of the lead singers on Beat 4 Feet album also on GiG)

For all the right reasons  –  Tanya Blount (Tanya was one of the featured vocalist’s in the hit movie “Sister Act 2 – Back in the Habit” starring Whoopi Goldberg … from the album ‘Natural Thing’ release on Polydor Records)

You know what i like  –  Sympho State (Released on the very avant-garde “Ze Records” at the time … this trak was recorded at Blank Tape Studio – written and featured Leroy Burgess & Christine Wiltshire)

Everybody  –  Roy Ayers (From his independent release on his own ‘Uno Melodic Records’, from his ‘Lots of love’ album … One of the most Vibraphonist in Soul – Roy recorded for United Artists, Atlantic although the bulk of his output was with Polydor Records)

U gotta get up  –  Viva featuring Althea McQueen (Originally released on Joe T Vanelli’s Italian label “Dream Beat Records” – co-written by Althea & produced by label owner Joe … McQueen later became the female lead vocalist with ‘Reel 2 Real’ studio assemblage)

This time  –  The Whispers (The Whispers featuring twins Walter & Scotty as part of the group they later were assigned to Soul Train Records which was later re-branded as “Sound Of Los Angeles Records” – commonly known as Solar … from the album “Love for love”)

Sweet tears  –  Roy Ayers (Having recorded a version in the early seventies with his band Ubiquity as a Soul trak – Roy re-corded it again this time as an extended Disco trak … from the album “Let’s do it” on Polydor Records)

Poppy Girls  –  Quincy Jones (Being interested in musical orchestration for an early age – Quincy became part of Lionel Hampton’s various Orchestra/Bands … commissioned to write & produced a plethora of soundtrax including The Wiz featuring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson)

Fade  –  Solu Music feat. Kimblee (Released on their own Solu Music Records before being licensed to Francois Kervorkian’s Wave Music for wider distribution and interest)
