Today’s trak

When a man cries  –  Tony Terry (Written by Jerry & Katreese Barnes who were in the band ‘Juicy’ … Jerry now play bass with Nile Rogers’s Chic whilst Katreese has provided background vocals for Patti Labelle, Alicia Keys, Will Downing, Byron Stingily and others)

Hot love  –  Charo (John Davis of The Monster Orchestra replaced Vincent Montana Jnr as writer & producer for Charo second Salsoul album … this trak is either inspired by ‘Love is in the air –  John Paul Young’ or vice versa)

Washing machine  –  N.C.C.U. (After Donald Byrd brought The Blackbyrds to the public’s attention he tried again with this band – however because they were assigned to United Artists the same label as Brass Construction they were left in the shade)

The Exodus  –  Wall of Faith ( As House/Garage music mutates to keep alive and more interesting – comes this slice of Jazz-House  released on Jazz Club out of New Jersey where for a while the bulk of U.S. Garage was produced)
