Thyme – Universal Robot Band (Instrumental version of ‘Dance, dance, dance – Marta Acuna’, on P&P Records and written by label co-owner Patrick Adams … this trak turned up on Universal Robot Band album -released on French ‘Panther’ label)

Fiddler on the roof – Noel Pointer (Signing to Jazz label “Blue Note Records” after doing session work around New York … Violinist Noel was produced by Dave Grusin & Larry Rosen – version of the Broadway Show/Movie of the same name)

Ain’t no mountain high enough – KXP feat Ceybil Jefferies (written by Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson – was originally a hit for Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell … Sybil Jefferies was assigned to Atlantic Records, with slight name change also as “Sweet Sable” with Scotti Brothers)

All I need is time – First Choice (From the album “The Player” on Stan ‘The Man’ Watson “Philly Groove Records” and produced by Stan Watson plus Norman Harris – written by Bud Reneau … was also recorded by Roy Orbison as well as Gladys Knight & The Pips)

T.S.O.P. – MFSB featuring The Three Degrees (The Sound of Philadelphia – this trak became the theme tune for Don Cornelius’s musical television show “Soul Train” … collective of session musicians working mainly out Sigma Sound Studios, Philadelphia known as Mother, Father, Sister, Brother – released their Philadelphia International Records)

Mista Cool – Brothers Johnson (Signed to A&M Records with the help of Quincy Jones who used them on some of his trax and also produced a variety of their albums … real life brothers formed their band as a quartet which also includes another of their sibling)

Live a happy life – Blaze featuring Billy Hope (written by Josh Milan & Kevin Hedges released on Sumo Records … Blaze appeared originally as a trio releasing trax on such independent label as New York’s Quark – later releasing a long player on Motown Records)

Whatcha gonna do – Heaven N Hell Orchestra (A track from the original soundtrak ‘Nocturna’ … written and produced by Reid Whitelaw & Norman Bergen – featuring Sigma Sound musicians The Sweethearts, Larry Washington & Don Renaldo Strings & Horns and released on MCA Records)

Call me – Randy Muller (Guyanese born, New York based Randy started his professional musical career by becoming a schoolboy arranger for producer Jeff Lane, later writing, arranging and producing for such acts as B.T. Express, Brass Construction, Garnet Mims, The Persuaders & Skyy … re-imagining one of his compositions)
