Search on  – Aretha (After a very successful tenure at Atlantic – Aretha decided to move unto pastures new, settling at Clive Davis’s Arista Records … written by Chuck Jackson who also wrote with Marvin Yancy who was also part vocal group ‘The Independents’)

Never gonna say goodbye  –  Poussez (Multi-percussionist/drummer Alphonse Mouzon formed this studio band with former member of both ‘Luther’ & ‘Musique’ – vocalist extraordinaire Christine Wiltshire … released on Vanguard Records)

The Kick  –  The Rhythm Machine (Indianapolis, America, based Funk band who released the bulk of their output on local collectable label ‘Lulu Records’ … this trak was not included on their album re-release)

Babylon  –  Nu Rhythmix (featuring ‘Reverend  Feel Good’ – written by Grant Nelson & released on U.K.’s Swing City Records … inspired vocally by ‘Soul Power –  Spensane’)

Children of the night – The Stylistics (Originally assigned to ‘Sebring Records’ before moving to a bigger label … from their second album “Round Trip ” on AVCO – written by Linda Creed & Thom Bell which was recorded at Sigma Sound, Philadelphia & features the musicians also known as MFSB)

(To each his own) That’s my philosophy – Van McCoy (Having produced the same song for “Faith, Hope & Charity” for RCA Records – Van reprises it for his ‘The Real McCoy’ album on Hugo & Luigi … Strings arranged by Gene Orloff, a former side musician with Bebop legend Charlie Parker)

Fug – Cymande (Based in London, England where Cymande fused Funk, Soul, Rock & other musical genres to get their original sound … from their album “Second time around” – released on Janus Records in the U.S.A)

Don’t ever give up – Modu presents Innervisions feat. Melonie Daniels (Released on Frankie Felicano’s Ricanstrucian Records … written Duane Harden & co-produced Moises Modestro & Duane Harden)

After all – Sam Dees (After recording for such labels as Chess & Clintone Records, Sam he moved unto Atlantic – he also wrote for Loleatta Holloway, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Millie Jackson amongst others … released on Pen Pad in the U.S. & RCA records in the U.K.)

`Got to give in to love – Bonnie Boyer (Bonnie’s album ‘Give in to love’ was released on CBS Records from where this trak was culled … arranged by Giuliano Salerni who later produced ‘Hi Gloss’ for Prelude Records)

What i got is what you need – Unique (One-off single – released on new York’s Prelude Records … co-written and produced by Deems J Smith also mixed by David Todd & Nick Martinelli)

All join hands – Cece Rogers (Known as Cece – Kenneth was signed to Atlantic Records where he released his self-titled album which he help co-write and produce most of the trax … Cece was also part of a trio featuring Kenny Bobien & Eddie Stockley)
