Over and over – Sylvester (Debutting with his backing group ‘The Hot Band’ on ‘Blue Thumb’ before moving to Fantasy Records as a solo artist … his first release was the 7 inch – although there was a promotional 12 inch of this Ashford & Simpson composition which was on his self-titled album in its edited form)

Shining star – The Jazzhole (Musically mixing Jazz with Hip-hop’ The Jazzhole’ dares to re-interpret ‘Earth, Wind and Fire’s ‘live’ single – this assemblage based around the nucleus of Marlon Saunders, Warren Rosenstein & John Pondel were initially signed to Blue Moon Recordings)

Good Vibrations (having fun) – Those Guys (Released on Andrew Komis’s First Choice Records … inspired by The Dells doo-wop acapella classic intro before .morphing into House Music .. produced by Baltimore based Basement Boys – release in the U.K as Vox Populi a four trek double 12 inch)

Go outside in the rain –  Milira (Milira Jones was assigned to ‘Apollo Records’ which was affiliated to Motown … from her self-titled album which was produced by Donald Dee Bowden known for trax released on ‘The Grey Label’)

Working day and night –  The Jacksons (Hailing from Gary, U.S.A. – the brothers released their first single on ‘Steeeltown Records’ …  finding fame and fortune with Motown as The Jackson Five,  before dropping Jermaine & adding Randy to their line-up when they moved to Epic Records )

No one can love me (quite the way you do)  –  Unlimited Touch (Featuring Stephanie James & Audrey Wheeler on lead vocals … from the album “Yes I’m ready” released on Prelude Records – remixed by Shep Pettibone)

 How I feel  –  Kenny Bobien (Kenny was part of the quartet “Def Con 4” … he later was the featured vocalist for such productions/Djs as ‘Brothers of Peace’ & Basement Boys  – from the album ‘Blessed’ on “Soundmen on Wax Records” )

Stealing in the name of the Lord – Thelma Houston (Originally written & sung by Paul Kelly – trak was/is so iconic that the title lyrics were included in “Papa was a rolling stone written by Norman Whitfield” … Thelma was assigned to ABC/Dunhill before moving unto Motown Records, this trak was only available on her “Best of” before original album was re-released)

Summertime – The Blue Velvets (Also known as “Free Expression” – this quartet released an album featuring primarily of Sam Cooke compositions … released by ‘Record Symphony Corporation’ – re-released with a different title & artist)

Slap Slap Lickedy Lap – Instant Funk (Self-contained group which includes brothers Kim and Scotty Miller was discovered by Bunny Sigler … following him to Salsoul Records where they released six albums in total – recorded at Bob Blank’s ‘Blank Tape Studio’ in New York)

K.o.T Anthem – Kings of Tomorrow feat. Stacey Alexander (Kings of Tomorrow are/were duo Sandy Rivera & Jose Burgos who recorded under a plethora of pseudonyms … they released their output on various labels and featured variety of vocalists)
