Theme from ‘Mahogany’ (Do you know where you are going to)  –  The Sylvers (‘Mahogany’ was a movie starring Diana Ross – written by Michael Masser/Gerry Goffin & produced by Giorgio Moroder  … The Sylvers were a self-contained family group which includes Foster & Leon who both became successful writer/producers)

Keep on stepping’  –  Fatback Band (Headed by Bill Curtis, Johnny King, Gerry Thomas & Johnny Flippin – this New York band wrote and produced their own compositions …. were assigned to Perception Records then later Event/Spring Records where most of their output released)

I’m a Queen  –  Underground Dwellers feat.Ja’nel (written by ‘Bruce Wayne’ & Walid Abdul Mutakabbir – produced by Tony Humphries for his ‘Yellorange Records’ based in East Orange New Jersey U.S.A.)

I should be your lover  –  Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes (Written by Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff of Philadelphia International Records  – from ‘The Blue Album’ on Source/MCA Records  recorded in Philadelphia … produced by Harold Melvin for “Million Dollar Records”)

Foxhuntin’  –  Idris Muhammad (The former ‘Leo Morris’ had been a Jazz drummer working some of the “Jazz Greats” in the late Sixties …  signing with Prestige as a solo artists then unto Kudu/CTI where he dipped his feet in Disco – title track from the album on Fantasy Records)

911  –  Chill (Brothers Robert and Herb Thompson were the nucleus of the band who recorded for “Street Records” … from the long player “Chill Out” which was later released on cd by ‘Funky Town Grooves’)

The more i get it  –  East West Connection feat. Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges (Put together by ‘Dr Bob Jones’ & ‘Lofty’ and released on their own U.K.’s Chillifunk Records … re-interpretation of a Teddy Pendergrass evergreen album trak)

(Don’t worry) If there’s Hell down below, we’re all gonna go  –  Curtis Mayfield (Chicago native & all round talent of writer/producer etc. was a former member of ‘The Impressions’ and was their  principal writer who was later known for his ‘Black Consciousness’ lyrics … from the album ‘Curtis’ released on “Curtom Records”)

I’m here again  –  Thelma Houston (Signed to ABC/Dunhill before moving unto the Mo West offshoot of Motown Records – after having minor hits, Thelma did her interpretation of a ‘ Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes’ album trak … was the inspiration of “What you need – Powerhouse feat Duane Harden”)

S**t goes down (But i got phunked up)  –  Ronny Jordan meets Dj Krush (British Jazz guitarist Ronny was assigned to Island Records where he released a number of long players … from the album “Bad Brothers”)

Come and get my lovin’  –  Dionne (Dionne Warren co-wrote trak with producer and label owner Andrew Komis released on Canadian ‘Big Shot Records’ – released in the U.K. on “City Beat”)
