Foxy Lady – Crown Heights Affair  (from the same stable as Kool & The Gang : Delite also they are named after an area in New York city)

Dreams – Kings of Tomorrow feat. Haze (Sandy Rivera on the mix however it feat. ‘an essence of Caravan – Duke Ellington’)

Love under new management  –  Miki Howard (Ex-Side Effect leading lady – The Elektra years … nothing like leading a blind horse to a pasture, it can smell the grass but just don’t know the way to it – are a snippet of the lyrics)

Cathedrals  –  D.C. LaRue (one of the early batch of 12″ before it was quickly deleted due to the closing of it’s distributing company Roulette Records)

Funky like a train  –  The Equals (12″ mix had gathered momentum as a bona-fide U.K. funk classic)

Superficial People  –  Ten City (12″ mixed by Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley – but the lp/cd trak is also potent)

Down,Down,Down  –  Sylvester (near forgotten drum and horns workout with a falsetto lead vocal on top)

Hustle bus stop  –  Mastermind (one off lp on Prelude prod. by Danny Weiss noted for his work with The Players Association)

Funky Rhythm  –  DJ Sneak (this funky rhythm – the more you hear it the more you want it … the chorus tells it like it is)
