Soul Meeting  –  Soul Clan (The Clan consists of Solomon Burke, Wilson Pickett, Ben E King, Otis Redding, Don Covay and Joe Tex – sadly they didn’t last very long after Otis died)

I love New York  –  Metropolis (Feat. The Sweethearts of Sigma consisting of Barbara Ingram, Carla Benson & Evette Benton … these women backed hundreds of trax that were recorded at Sigma Sound Studios Phidelphia)

All hell broke loose  –  Willie Hutch (A Motown veteran – Willie hotfoot to Whitfield when Norman started his own label under the W.E.A. umbrella)

You used to hold me –  Ralphie Rosario feat. Xavier Gold (Every so often you have a musical evergreen – a trak that always sounds great and to get more mileage/money out of said trak, you bring in the two and only – ‘Masters at Work’)

A real mother for ya  –  Johnny ‘Guitar ‘ Watson (A blues guitarist – the 50’s who also played Funk)

Freedom  –  Midnight Express feat. Sabrina Johnson (Vocally Sabrina has crossed genres which includes Gospel and Jazz – and with a backbeat to go crazy to)

Gone, gone, gone  –  Johnny Mathis  (The timings was wrong on the U.K. 12″ – should have been 6.30 instead it said 3.47)

Hi-tension  –  Hi-tension  (This London  band started what became known as ‘Britfunk – British Funk)

Grapevine Boogie  –  Leftside Wobble (Most ‘mashups’ could only be describes as collisions but this ‘I heard it through the grapevine – Gladys Knight & The Pips’ with ‘All played out – L.I.F.E.’ backbeat is anything but !)
