Cut Loose  –  Hamilton Bohannon (As a session drummer for Motown Records – Hamilton sure had to know how to keep the beat … this trak shows he never forgot)

Peekin’  –  Brass Construction (From Brass Construction first lp came this monster  – first heard this whilst dancing next to 10ft speakers where people was there for the music)

Love will save the day  –  Georgie Porgie (Not the one from the nursery rhyme but a bona-fide Chicago House Master in every sense of the words)

Snapshot  –  Delores Hall (In the tv series Diagnosis Murder the secretary is Delores Mitchell – to Soul and Disco fans she is Deloris Hall mixed by Columbia/CBS then inhouse remixer John Loungo)

Papa don’t make no mess  –  James Brown (From the lp “It’s Hell”  …. should’ve been called I”t’s Heaven”)

Music for Gong Gong  –  Luisito Quintero (i was told agout the original version by Osibisa  … when it saw this i bought it without even hearing it  – i was not disappointed… i have since heard the original)

Keep it up   –  Milton Wright (Brother of Betty … Milton released two lps on the Alston Records – part of Henry Stone’s T.K. empire based in Miami U.S.  …  which gain new interest as both has singlely been repressed on vinyl and cd  … in between release of  the original lps, this musician has since become a Judge but still keeps this feet in the musical waters)

Because there is music in the air  –  Macho (Like most ‘Goody Music Productions’ this one was also recorded in Italy  and mixed in New York  … mixed by Tom Savarese at Sigma Sound N.Y. …. licence to Prelude Records for the U.S.A.)

Funtown USA  –  Cameron (Where can you find a trak that includes ‘yabba dabba doo’ in the lyrics  …. Rafael Cameron was an old musical compadre to producer Randy Muller … a Salsoul nugget)

Inside my soul  –  Groove Junkies featuring Solomon Henderson (A Morehouse release … the simplicity of the trak makes it ‘a trak above the rest’  …never heard a Morehouse trak i didn’t enjoy)
