Christmas Medley  – Salsoul Orchestra (I had already had a few singles by this group – then in November/December of ’76 – i heard this and  Vince Montana and the Salsoul Orchestra became my all time favourite)

Soulful Christmas  – James Brown (More Funky than Soulful  – this is from second of three Christmas lps – even though they were not 100% Christmas lps)

Joy to the world  –  Mariah Carey (this is from her Merry Christmas cd/lp released in 94 …. remixed by David Morales this is one of Mariah rarer cd singles)

Try me, i know we can make it  –  Donna Summer (Her married name was actually spelt Sommer but somewhere along the way it was mis-spelt but they kept it like that anyway … know as ‘The first Lady of Love’ – not to be confused with another ‘Lady of Love’ – Linda Lovelace … this trak covered all of side one on the lp)

(Your love got me) Screamin’  –  Blacksmoke (Also known as ‘Smoke’ – their lp was produced by Wayne Henderson for his “At Home Productions” company … released on ‘Chocolate City’,  the Soul/Funk subsidiary of Casablanca Records – home of Parliament, Cameo)

Love is on the way  –  Louie Vega featuring Blaze (Two power-houses of Garage/House come together – with Josh Milan on lead vocals and Raul Midon  on guitar brings it to the boil)

Love is the key  –  Praise Cats featuring Andrea Love (Not as instant as their first monster hit but brilliant never the less … produced by Eric Miller as know as E-Smoove … released on Subliminal Records)
