Sell my soul  –  Sylvester (Sadly he died much too early however whenever you heard anyone talk about him – it’s warmth, good craziness and generosity)

Hot summer nights  –  Love Club (Re-discovered Boogie trak originally released on West End Records that have been championed by the likes of DJ Spinna)

Thank you Lord  –  Connie Harvey (This trak started life on the artists ‘Beat 4 Feet’ album on GiG Records (Austria) and made it’s way to Bassline and Soulfuric Record labels both of which has helped pushed the quality of Dance Music upwards)

Charlestown  –  Wing & a Prayer Fife and Drum Corps (This was one of the first big Disco Orchestra – they featured old standards … arranger by Harold Wheeler who also arranged Gloria Gaynor early hits)

Freestyle  –  Donald Harrison (New Orleans Saxophone supremo hits the Funk button with this bonus trak from his ‘Heroes’ cd … featuring Vicente Archer & John Lamkin – on Nagel Heyer Records)

Saturday  –  East 57th Street featuring Donna Allen (An old ‘Chic’ composition  from one of their vocalists  – this originally Norma Jean Wright sung trak has been dusted off and giving the ‘Garage’ treatment)

Groove City  – Wilson Pickett (Nicknamed ‘Wicked Pickett’ … his Sixties ‘Atlantic Records’ output has predominantly been overshadowed his later works … more popular on the European side of the Atlantic Ocean)

Keep on bumpin’ before you give out of gas  –  The Last Word (Another pseudonym of ‘The JB’s’ … Produced by ‘The Minister of New New Super Heavy Funk’ also known to the rest of the world as James Brown)
