Trax feat. The Dells, Brenda Taylor, Bill Wolfer, East West Connection

I touched a dream  –  The Dells (The Dells should’ve assigned to Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff’s record label  but because of red tape that was not possible, so “If you don’t know me by now” went to ‘Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes – where they did  a stellar job)

You can have your cake and eat it too  –  Brenda Taylor (Credited  as B.T. on the record and released on “After Hour Records” before re-released on ‘West End’ for worldwide distribution … co-written by Clifton Dyson)

Papa was a rolling stone  –  Bill Wolfer (Bill came to prominence as the synthesizer wunderkind for Stevie Wonder – he debut on Constellation Records, a unit of Solar … he updates a Norman Whitfield classic)

East West  –  East West Connection (Released on London’s Chilli Funk Records – a short-lived label that only had 20 album releases)
