French way  –  Crown Heights Affair (This eight piece self-contained powerhouse Funk band gives you this saucy Funk mini-masterpiece … though i’m certain it’s the same in other parts of the world)

Love is gonna save the day  –  Georgie Porgie (This Georgie (Andros) did not ‘kiss the girls and made them cry’ – instead made some trax and made them dance … released on Chicago’s Vinyl Soul Records)

Shacking up  –  Barbara Mason (Barbara was ‘Rappin’ before the genre existed … signed to Arctic Records in her teens with a hit record – she was known for her own compositions and her her individual vocalising)
