Atlantic City Gambler  –  Grace Jones (“Disco” is a recently released triple cd extravaganza of her first three albums which including bonus trax that were recorded at Sigma Sound Studio Philadelphia …. this trak was from the lp ‘Muse’ – arranged by Thor Baldursson and produced by Tom Moulton)

The boys in blue  –  Light of the World (L.o.t.W. shows off the Britishness by singing about the ‘British  Bobby’ also about the ‘sus’ law which hundreds and maybe thousands of young black men were arrested for been ‘suspicious’)

Always  –  Sheila Ford & The MuthaFunkaz (This trax is from the recently released cd on Dj Spen’s Quantize Recordings … Sheila first came to my attention when was the principle vocalist with Charles Dockins)

Open up your love  –  The Whispers (Title trak of their second album on the newly formed Soul Train Records … featuring The U.S West Coast top session men including James Gadson, Wah-Wah Watson, Joe Sample, Wilton Felder amongst others)

Eleanor Rigby  –  Wing & A Prayer Fife and Drum Corps (A studio outfit headed by arranger/producer Harold Wheeler …. The album cover was an amazing with a woman with a false nose, eye brows and moustache)

I treasure your pleasure  –  D-Train (Hubert Eaves And James Williams were the duo that kept the dance floors groovin … the Prelude design on the label lots of Eletro-Funk/Boogie fans bought their trax without even listening – they were so confident of the quality)

As always  –  Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk featuring Ricky Dillard (Stevie Wonder’s ‘Songs in the key of life’ album was a milestone – there has been countless cover versions from this album, in a variety of genres …  released on Chicago’s Trax Records and Champion in U.K.)
