Tango Hustle  –  The Kay Gees (This monster Funk instrumental featured Kevin Bell who later became producer extraordinare and Boogie specialist Amir Bayyan)

Voices  –  Voice in my mind (On the 12 inch – it proudly states ‘A Masters at Work Production’ …  Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzales & Little Louie Vega are the writing and production chairs  – India and Michael Watford on vocals amongst others)

Up jumped the devil  –  John Davis & The Monster Orchestra (The Devil always play the best trax – original released on Sam Weiss’s Sam Records … has since recently been re-editted/remixed by The Borough Project)

Unlock the funk  –  Locksmith (A funk that’s worth unlocking … produced Harvey ‘Til you take my love’ Mason – an Arista Records release  – recently being released on cd)

God helps those who helps themselves  –  Jasper Street Company (A Gospel assemblage who were produced by The Basement Boys for Basement Boys Records … take it to church)

Let it be you  –  Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes (After years of yearning for a national hit –  they signed to the newly formed Philadelphia International Records … this is from their ‘breakout’ hit album which was recorded at Joe Tarsia’s Sigma Sound Studios, Philadelphia, USA)

This is it  –  Dan Hartman (Having being a member of the Rock band ‘Edgar Winter Group’, Dan decided to change his musical direction and jump into the Disco pool …. originally released as a medley on the lp – this was dissected into ‘a’ & ‘b’ sides for 12″ release)

Yellow Pages  –  General Caine (This trak was from their second lp on Tabu Records … sadly to say their leader Mitch McDowell was murdered in 1992 whilst working for his family business … released on cd as part of the ‘Tabu Reborn’ re-release project)

I feel music  –  Harlem Zip Code (“Inspired” by ‘Could heaven ever be like this – Idris Muhammad’ on Creed Taylor’s subsidary  ‘Kudu Records’ …  this trak turned on an extended play 12′ on Paper records)
