House time anytime  –  Criminal Element Orchestra (After producer Arthur Baker left New York’s Streetwise Records – he armed himself with coterie of musicians, deejays & (re)mixers to bring out the best of the city’s street music … featuring lots of samples and inspirations including Sinnamon, Loleatta Holloway, James Brown and The Fatback Band)

Move on up/up up up  –  The Destination (Writer/producer/arranger/remixer & studio owner Elton Ahi takes  Curtis’s Funk epic into a Disco epic … Elton first became a dj before going on to mix “Shalamar” first hit for Soul Train Records – a Butterfly Records release)

Bertha Butt Boogie  –  Jimmy Castor Bunch (Funky & Humorous Jimmy Castor not only had his “Bunch” but also recorded as a solo artists … he has been heavily ‘sampled’ by both Hip Hop & House/Garage artists  – from the album “Butt of course”)

Higher  –  David Morales & Albert Cabrera presents Moca feat. Deanna (David & Albert puts the two first letters of their surname for this … feat. Ms Dellacioppa on vocals and released on Morales’s Definity Records – contains an official sample of “Scorpio” – Dennis Coffey)

It all comes back around  –  Trey Lorenz (Trey is known for his duet with Mariah Carey  … after releasing his debut album in ’92, it was over 10 years before the follow up … sub-titled “Mimi presents Trey Lorenz” – the album also features Mariah Carey, her nickname being ‘Mimi’)

Playboy  –  France Joli (France’s first album was the beginning of the Canadian assault on Disco music … produced by Tony Green & recorded in Marko studios but fine-tuned/mixed at Alpha in Philadelphia, U.S.A. – this self-titled album was released on Prelude Records)

I used to hate it (til i ate it) –  New York Port Authority (Named after the New York’s bus station and their transport services … this sextet recorded one album for superstar the writers/arrangers/producers ‘Holland/Dozier/Holland’  – owners of Invictus Records)

Make my love  –  Shawn Christopher (Shawn released a few singles before blasting out on one of Chicago’s most important & iconic House labels – DJ International Records … this trak was released on BTB)
