Heaven must haven sent  –  Bonnie Pointer  (After Bonnie left her sisters she hot-footed to Motown and then covered one of their older songs by The Elgins)

Super Heroes  –  9th Creation  (This band released three lps and worth buying – if you are lucky enough to see them)

Can i get a witness  –  Ann Nesby  (Ann departs The Sound of Blackness after been one of their principal vocalists … Moouse T on the mix)

Haven’t stopped dancing  –  Gonzalez  (U.K. Soul/Disco/Funk shows that they are just as good as their U.S. counterparts)

Hot Potato – LaToya Jackson  (Michael’s middle sister brings you this slice of Boogie feat. lyrics ‘let the door knob hit you where the dog shoulda bit you’)

Warm Leatherette  –  Club 69  (The late Peter Rauhofer puts his production skills in full throttle on this The Normal/Grace Jones nugget)

You bring me joy  –  Norman Connors feat. Miss Adaritha (Aka Ada Dyer … later covered by Anita Baker, written by David Lasley – a session vocalist who worked beside Luther, Jocelyn Brown, Patti Austin et al … recently released on cd)

Cisselin’ Hot  –  Chuck Cissel (There only one way to describe this Cisselin’ … he also had to be pretty talented to write a song based around his name)

Turn me up – Keith Barrow (This man crossed the boundaries of Soul, Disco & Funk and if he lived long enough i’m sure he would’ve included Garage/House in his repertoire … he succeeded 3 out of 4 of our musical genres … since been released on cd)

Let it roll  –  Doug Lazy  (Hip-hop music gets a house beat hence the sub-genre Hip-house)
