Carry on turn me on – Space (Studio French group headed by Didier Marouani credited on records as ‘Ecama’ … former lead of “Blue Mink” and session singer Madeline Bell is brought in as the featured vocalist – produced by Jean-Phillipe Iliesco)

The Man with the band – Fatback Band (Releasing singles on “B.C. Project commonly known as Bill Curtis Project” – before moving unto ‘Perception’ then ‘Spring Records’ where the first hit was ‘Nija Walk (Street Dance)’ which was covered in the U.K. by “Mexicanos”)

Can you feel it – Mr.Fingers (Nestled as the second trak of a 12 inch released Trax Records – Larry Heard wrote & produced this original instrumental before it was re-recorded, remixed, sampled, copied, chopped up and bastardised by Djs, producers & Record labels)

My Dear Mr. Gaye – Teena Marie (Mary Christine Brockert also known Teena Marie was assigned to Motown Records in the mid-seventies where she met fellow signee Marvin … co-written by Leon Ware who was also Gaye’s collaborator – from the album ‘Starchild’ on Epic Records)

Can you tell me why – Jackie Moore (Jackie recorded at Sigma Sound Studio, Philadelphia, whilst assigned to Atlantic Records – she returned there for her Columbia albums which was produced by MFSB & Salsoul Orchestra member Bobby Eli)

Monterey – Rhythm Makers (Released on ‘Vigor’ part of New York’s independent “Delite Records”, where they reached underground cult status they later changed their name and record label & the hits flowed … from their only an album “Soul on my side” )

Up in flames – Satoshi Tomiie feat. Kelli Ali (Japanese Tomiie was discoverd by Frankie Knuckles who brought him to record with his old apartment associate Robert Owens … Ali was formally with “Sneaker Pimps”)

One child of love – Peaches & Herb (The male/female duo – Peaches & Herb has been releasing trax since the Mid-Sixties although the female lead changed a variety of times … written and produced by Freddie Perrin & Dino Fekaris who were “Motown Records” house writers/producers, who also gave us ‘that song’ by Gloria Gaynor)

Be thankful for what you got – The Intruders (Forever known as the earliest group affiliated with Gamble/Philadelphia International Records – The Intruders decided to cover William DeVaughn’s Diamond making it into an ‘Uptempo Soul’ trak … MFSB are the backing musicians)

Treat me right – Kim English (Chicago-an Kim came from a Gospel background although she was assigned to New York’s Nervous Records which is headed by Michael Weiss … written by Kim and Maurice Joshua … from “My Destiny” album)
