Sugar pie guy  –  The Joneses (a mid-tempo shuffler rather an out & out stomper … released as a 7inch single in ’74 – the rereleased on 12 in ’79 as an extended mix)

Tom the Peeper  –  Act One (Released on ‘Spring’ record … short, spunky and Funky)

I’m the baddest bitch (in this room)  –  Norma Jean Bell (Her words not mine … Saxophonist Norma is a writer and producer who worked with Frank Zappa amongst others – released on her own Pandemonium Records)

Don’t let me be lonely tonight – Boney James introducing Quinn (Written by James Taylor for his “One man dog” album …  although this trak has been covered by a variety including Eric Clapton – this version has that extra bit of pzazz)

Accidental lover  –  Mc Lane Explosion (This studio band was primarily Roland Romanelli whose French release album was remixed, re-editted and re-released by Tom Moulton on his Salsoul distributed ‘Tom N Jerry’ Record label  … originally recorded by ‘Love & Kisses’)

Bump your lady  –  Natural High (The Bump was a Dance in 1974 … single release on Invictus Records – owned by ‘Holland-Dozier-Holland’ the trio of hit writers/producers of Motown Records after they departed said label)

Shine on me  –  Lovestation (Vocals courtesy of the dynamic Lisa Hunt … Lovestation was a U.K. studio based band with various vocalists – released on Fresh Records then later remixed & re-released on Arista)

As a TRIBUTE to the people who were MASSACRED in the FLORIDA NIGHTCLUB – the first trak i played at ISLAND BAR BIRMINGHAM – last night (Sunday 12th June 2016) was : I WAS BORN THIS WAY – CARL BEAN (co-written by Bunny Jones, produced by Norman Harris & recorded at Sigma Sound Studio, Philadelphia … the publishing rights were later acquired by MEL CHERREN (of West End Records & Paradise Garage))
