She’s the kind – 9th Creation (The Burrise brothers helped put together the band in whilst still in school calling the band ‘The Soulful Struts’ however they changed their name they were extended to nine members … originally released as part of an e.p. on the bands’ own Track Records)

Love per hour – The Trammps (From the ashes of vocal group ‘The Volcanoes’ – The Trammps was devised by Earl Young … they released their first singles on Buddha Records … vocally inspired by such groups as The Astors & The Coasters and name-wise inspired by the Charlie Chaplin’s character)

Change (makes you wanna hustle) – Mugo (Re-discovered and re-released by Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzales on his own ‘Kay-Dee Records’ – known as ‘Mugo Kenyatta’ although they dropped the latter part of their name … they re-interprets a Donald Byrd nugget)

Then came you – Harley & Muscle feat. India (Italian based Harley & Muscle are Djs/producers & label owners – they have been remixing since the mid-Nineties … Puerto Rican born La India first album was produced by such luminaries as ‘Jellybean’ Benitez, Little Louie Vega & Mantronik)

Trax feat. Angela Winbush, Bonnie Pointer, 9th Creation, Ann Nesby

I’ve learn to respect the power of love  –  Angela Wimbush (Angela was partnered with Rene Moore as the duo ‘Rene & Angela before going solo … written by the lady herself – this trak has been recorded by other Soul artists)

Heaven must haven sent you  — Bonnie Pointer (Bonnie was one of The Pointer Sisters before who recorded for “Blue Thumb Records” … she later hot-footed to Motown where she ‘Disco-fied’ one of their previous hits by “The Elgins”)

Super heroes  –  9th Creation (The Funk band released three albums including one on New York’s “Prelude” label who released mainly 12inches …  they namecheck themselves – this was the title trak of their third album on ‘Hilltak Records’)
