The Man with the band – Fatback Band (Releasing singles on “B.C. Project commonly known as Bill Curtis Project” – before moving unto ‘Perception’ then ‘Spring Records’ where the first hit was ‘Nija Walk (Street Dance)’ which was covered in the U.K. by “Mexicanos”)

Can you feel it – Mr.Fingers (Nestled as the second trak of a 12 inch released Trax Records – Larry Heard wrote & produced this original instrumental before it was re-recorded, remixed, sampled, copied, chopped up and bastardised by Djs, producers & Record labels)

If you leave me now  –  Lorraine Johnson (Originally written by Peter Cetra and recorded by his group ‘Chicago’ … coming from a Gospel background Lorraine released a single Atlantic  before teaming with writers/producers Jesse Boyce & Moses Dillard for her Prelude Records albums and singles)

Theme from ‘Mahogany’ (Do you know where you are going to)  –  The Sylvers (‘Mahogany’ was a movie starring Diana Ross – written by Michael Masser/Gerry Goffin & produced by Giorgio Moroder  … The Sylvers were a self-contained family group which includes Foster & Leon who both became successful writer/producers)

Keep on stepping’  –  Fatback Band (Headed by Bill Curtis, Johnny King, Gerry Thomas & Johnny Flippin – this New York band wrote and produced their own compositions …. were assigned to Perception Records then later Event/Spring Records where most of their output released)
