Carry on turn me on – Space (Studio French group headed by Didier Marouani credited on records as ‘Ecama’ … former lead of “Blue Mink” and session singer Madeline Bell is brought in as the featured vocalist – produced by Jean-Phillipe Iliesco)

The Man with the band – Fatback Band (Releasing singles on “B.C. Project commonly known as Bill Curtis Project” – before moving unto ‘Perception’ then ‘Spring Records’ where the first hit was ‘Nija Walk (Street Dance)’ which was covered in the U.K. by “Mexicanos”)

Can you feel it – Mr.Fingers (Nestled as the second trak of a 12 inch released Trax Records – Larry Heard wrote & produced this original instrumental before it was re-recorded, remixed, sampled, copied, chopped up and bastardised by Djs, producers & Record labels)

If you leave me now  –  Lorraine Johnson (Originally written by Peter Cetra and recorded by his group ‘Chicago’ … coming from a Gospel background Lorraine released a single Atlantic  before teaming with writers/producers Jesse Boyce & Moses Dillard for her Prelude Records albums and singles)

Theme from ‘Mahogany’ (Do you know where you are going to)  –  The Sylvers (‘Mahogany’ was a movie starring Diana Ross – written by Michael Masser/Gerry Goffin & produced by Giorgio Moroder  … The Sylvers were a self-contained family group which includes Foster & Leon who both became successful writer/producers)

Keep on stepping’  –  Fatback Band (Headed by Bill Curtis, Johnny King, Gerry Thomas & Johnny Flippin – this New York band wrote and produced their own compositions …. were assigned to Perception Records then later Event/Spring Records where most of their output released)

I’m a Queen  –  Underground Dwellers feat.Ja’nel (written by ‘Bruce Wayne’ & Walid Abdul Mutakabbir – produced by Tony Humphries for his ‘Yellorange Records’ based in East Orange New Jersey U.S.A.)

Stop in the name of love  –  Margie Joseph (Margie took “The Supremes” hit and added a ‘monologue’ to it – in the same way that Isaac Hayes was doing to cover versions about the same time … today it would have been known as ‘Margie’s Rap’)

Two hot for love  –  THP Orchestra (Three Hats Productions – a Canadian studio trio releases their ‘Magnum Opus’ on Disco label specialists “Butterfly Records” … lead vocals courtesy of  Barbara Fry)

Mr. Bass Man  –  Fatback Band  (New York’s “Street-Funk” pioneers drops this little nugget – available from their album “Keep on Steppin'” on Event/Spring Records … this was remixed for their ‘Remixed’ album project)

Sweet Freedom  –  Shawn Christopher (Chicago-an ‘House Diva’ gives her all’ on this ‘re-do’ – produced by Eric Kupper for his own ‘Hysteria Records’ … originally written by U.K’s Rod Temperton for the movie “Running Scared”)
