Can’t hold me back – Carolyn Crawford (Known for her vocals on “Let’s start the dance – Hamilton Bohannon” … Carolyn was a solo Motown artist and later being part of a quartet ‘Hodges, James, Smith & Crawford’ before signing on the dotted line with Philadelphia International then unto Mercury Records)

Get happy – Raise the roof connection featuring Shawnee Taylor (Released on New York’s Permanent Records who spelt her first name wrong … Shawnee also recorded with such luminaires as Eric Morillo, Roland Clark, Harry Romero for labels such as King Street Sounds, Subliminal, Playland & Velocity Records to name a few)

Lipstick  –  Michel Polnareff (Title from the film sound track of the same name … French singer/songwriter was known originally for his song “La Poupee qui fait” which was later recorded by ‘Cristina’ & produced by August ‘Kid Creole’ Darnell on Ze Records)

Cocoa funk  –  Carlos Franzetti (From the album “Graffitti” on Guinness Records which was rumoured to be a ‘tax shelter’ … Argentinean Carlos moved to New York where he became a free-lance arranger for artists such as Candido, Ray Barretto & Aural Exciters)

Freedom  –  Jocelyn Brown (The No.1 session lead vocalist – favourite of “Patrick Adams” “Greg Carmichael” & Masters at Work” … famous for laying down vocals for Soul, Disco, Boogie, Reggae, House & Garage genres)
