Trax feat. Major Harris, Loleatta Holloway, Hudson People, Dawn Tallman

Love won’t let me wait  –  Major Harris (Major Harris was in the group ‘Nat Turner’s Rebellion’,  which was named after a slave uprising headed by Nat Turner – over 50 white people were killed … written by Bobby Eli & Vinnie Barrett – pen-name Gwendolyn Woodfolk, Barbara Ingram on moans & groans aka background vocals )

Love Sensation  – Loleatta Holloway (Loleatta was the featured vocalist on Dan Hartman’s “Vertigo/Relight my fire” – in return he wrote ‘Love Sensation’ for her … this is the same trak that caused controversy because when the Italian producers sampled it – it became ‘Ride on time’ instead of ”Right on time” as per lyrics)

Trip to my mind  –  Hudson People (Originally released on independent “Hithouse” before being picked up by Ensign Records for national distribution after being discovered by dj Chris Hill and owner of Ensign … this U.K. Jazz-Funk classic has has a cult following)

Wake up  –  Dawn Tallman (Released on Nervous Records – a label founded by Sam Weiss and son Michael – Sam previously owned Sam Records and also had interest in Old Town with brother Hy Weiss … written by Dawn – remixed by Hex Hector who won a Grammy for his skills)
