You put a move on my heart  –  Tamia (This trax was featured on “Q’ Jook Joint” – Quincy Jones before been released on her self-titled album which was both available on Quincy’s Qwest Records … written by Rod Temperton known for ‘Thriller’ & ‘Rock with you’ – Michael Jackson amongst others )

That old black magic  –  The Softones (Available as an early promotional 12 inch single b/w Love is the answer – Van MccCoy … hailed from Baltimore U.S.A – this quartet were assigned to “Avco Records” before it’s name change to ‘Hugo & Luigi’ after the owners christian names)

Funn  –  Gunchback Boogie Band (One-off trak by co-written & produced byAmir Bayyan formerly Kevin Bell of “The Kay-Gees” and brother of Robert”Kool” Bell of “Kool and The Gang” … a Prelude Records release)

You don’t know  –  Mass Syndicate feat. SuSu Bobien (Credited elsewhere as “Jazpel feat. SuSu” – co-written by CeCe Rogers, the singer/songwriter of House/Garage anthems ‘Someday’ also ‘All join hands’ and more …)

When you’ve been blessed – Patti Labelle (Probably from her best all-round lp/cd that had soul fans salivating at the ears)

Erotic Soul – Larry Page Orchestra (Predominantly a covers band then Disco appeared and bam : they released this)

Najee’s Nasty Groove – Najee (Obviously inspired by what Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis was doing with Janet Jackson – but it still makes it worth while)

Bring it on – Ndea Davenport (On and off lead vocalist of The Brand New Heavies – this Hex Hector mix was totally ignored by the Garage/House fraternity)
