Happy holidays to you – The Whispers (Written by Mark Wood of “Lakeside” – their label mate of Dick Griffey’s Solar Records … this quintet has been performing since the Mid-Sixties and recording for such labels as Soul Clock & producers as Norman Harris & Leon Sylvers)

The Montana Christmas Medley – Montana Orchestra (Having produced that iconic Christmas medley in ’76 … Writer/Arranger/Producer Vince Montana did it again, this time for his own production/record company which later became known as Philly Sound Works)

Sleigh ride – Alexander O’Neal (Hailing from Minneapolis, U.S.A – Alexander was in the band ‘Flyte Time’ which included Morris Day, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis … when “Jam & Lewis” were recruited by Clarence Avant for his ‘Tabu Records’ label, they brought along Alexander who was assigned to the label)

Hark the herald Angel sing/Gloria – Bobby D’Ambrosio feat. Bettina Pennon (Written by Charles Wesley who been classed as one of the founding fathers of the Methodist Church and a steadfast song/hymn writer … Dj/Producer D’Ambrosio has been known for re-inventing Disco Classics also a champion of female vocalists)

Welcome to my dream  –  The Whispers (Written by Grady Wilkins who later became The Whispers musical director whilst at Solar Records … TheWhispers has recorded on such labels as Dore, Soul Clock, Janus & Soul Train – which evolved into Solar Records)

Love hangover  –  Fifth Dimension (Noticing that an album track by Motown’s No.1 Female artist – ‘Diana Ross’ was not being released as a single – The Fifth Dimension rushed into the studio to record and release it … Fifth Dimension’s version was on ABC Records)

Trust me – D J Rogers ( Named Dewayne Julius – this trak was released by Earth, Wind & Fire’s Maurice White’s ARC Records … D.J. has recorded with such stellar artists as Shirley Brown, Brecker Brothers & Patrice Rushen)

Piece of mind – Next Phase featuring Helen Bruner & Terri Jones (Written by Tommy Musto and released on New York’s Sub-Urban Records – this version was remixed by the Basement Boys … Helen & Terri has also released albums)

A Song for Donny  –  The Whispers (As a tribute to Donny Hathaway – the original song was re-named and re-lyric-ed by Carrie Lucas …  called ‘This Christmas’ written by Donny & was featured on the album “Happy holidays to you” – The Whispers on Solar Records)

Casanova Brown  –  Gloria Gaynor (A trak from Gloria’s second long player release on MGM Records and produced by “Disco Corporation of America” & mixed by Tom Moulton … features the lyrics ‘The story of Little Red Riding Hood – the Big Bad Wolf was up to no good’)

Stretchin’ out (like a Rubber Band)  –  Bootsy’s Rubber Band (William ‘Bootsy’ Collins became part of James Brown’s Funk entourage … he later tied up with George Clinton’s ‘Parliament’ and his other Funk acts … written/produced by Clinton & Collins on Warner Brothers Records)

Can’t stop  –  Quentin Harris feat. Jason Walker (Written by ‘L.A & Babyface’ who were part of ‘The Deele on “Solar Records” – originally recorded by After 7 … produced by Quentin Harris and released on Strictly Rhythm Records)
