Trax feat. Lorraine Johnson, Witch Queen, Noel Pointer, Doug Willis

Just for the moment  –  Lorraine Johnson (Coming from a Gospel background – Lorraine tied up with producers Moses Dillard & Jesse Boyce who signed her to Prelude Records … although known for her Disco content Lorraine shows she can also belt out a Soul trak)

Bang a gong  –  Witch Queen (Producer Gino Soccio sets about putting a new slant on Disco by covering (Glam) Rock trax for the studio album … in this case it’s “T.Rex’s Let’s get it on” retitled ‘Bang a gong’ – the second verse of the chorus)

Living for the city  –  Noel Pointer (At 13 years old violinist Noel was playing with the big boys musically – signed to Blue Note Records who were releasing ‘Jazz direction’ albums rather than ‘Straight Jazz’ & gave a new interpretation to Stevie’s nugget)

Get your own  –  Doug Willis (Dave Lee aka Joey Negro decides to re-invent some Disco & Funk classics with a House/Garage beat … Chicago’s Yvonne Steven aka Taka Boom on vocals – released on Z Records)
